Spiritual Hot Springs and the Hippie Trail
mbark on a beautiful journey alongside the fierce Parvati River to reach Kasol, a vibrant hamlet known for its relaxed backpacker vibe, Israeli cafes, and stunning pine-forested trails.
A few kilometers further lies the spiritual town of Manikaran. This sacred place is highly revered by both Sikhs and Hindus. It is famously home to the Manikaran Sahib Gurudwara and miraculous natural hot sulfur springs.
Bathing in the extremely hot natural springs is considered highly auspicious and therapeutic. The Gurudwara kitchen actually cooks its daily langar (community meal) using the geothermal heat from these very springs, a fascinating sight to behold.
Travel from Kullu into the scenic Parvati Valley, following the winding river.
Visit the Gurudwara, take a holy dip in the hot springs, and eat the sacred Langar.
Head back to Kasol to explore the flea market and shop for unique bohemian souvenirs.
Relax in one of the famous riverside Israeli cafes with a warm cup of coffee.
