A Glimpse into the Royal Heritage of Kullu
erched high above the Kullu Valley, Naggar Castle is a magnificent historical edifice that served as the residence of Raja Sidh Singh of Kullu. Built in the 15th century, the castle showcases a unique architectural blend of Himalayan and European styles.
Constructed using stone and wood, the castle has survived numerous earthquakes and remains a testament to traditional Himachali craftsmanship (Kath Kuni architecture). Today, it is run as a heritage hotel by HPTDC, but remains open for visitors to explore its art galleries and courtyards.
